I believe Romans 6,7,8 are the most important chapters in the New Testament for the believer. They hold the key to moving us from spiritual infancy to maturity. Check out this comparison and see if it enlightens you the way it did me.
Romans 6 = Red Sea (Baptism into Christ)
Romans 7= Wilderness (Experience apart from Christ)
Romans 8= Promise land (Fullness of Christ)
