American Socialism?
Norman Matton Thomas (November 20, 1884 - December 19, 1968) was a leading American socialist, pacifist, and six-time presidential candidate for the Socialist Party of America. He was ordained as a Presbyterian minister in 1911. As a candidate for President of the U. S., Norman Thomas said, in a 1944 epoch speech: "The American people will never knowingly adopt socialism. But, under the name of "liberalism", they will adopt every fragment of the socialist program, until one day America will be a socialist nation, without knowing how it happened." He went on to say: "I no longer need to run as a Presidential Candidate for the Socialist Party. The Democratic Party has adopted our platform."

It's like the frog that was sitting in the bottom of a boiler of cold water. In World War Two, the people of this country loved God and did what they could to fight tyranny, each one doing their part. But the boiler has been on a slow burner for decades now, and the temp got higher so slowly that it woke up one day to realize that the water was boiling! The change came one court decision, one lie at a time, until the whole country has been infested with godlessness and sinfulness, to the point that we, as well as the world, do not recognize that same Country anymore! But with prayer and the right to vote, we can get a grip in this country, I pray in Jesus' Name!
It's like the frog that sat in a boiler of cold water with the heat turned on low...our country was great during the decade of WW2, filled with God-fearing Christians who defended their country and others against tyranny. Everyone did their part. But today, our country has become infested with sin and excess, drugs, and liberal thinkers who "question the existence of God". In our courts, in our schools, we have become infiltrated with rebels without any cause but to run down America. How could we have known? How could it have been avoided? And how can it be stopped? Pray for our President, and for our Country.
